Tobias Sjögren has been removed as CEO, although the exact wording surrounding the dismissal is unclear.

Developer Starbreeze also plans to overhaul the game's matchmaking system.

"It is your passion that inspires us to work hard to deliver the best Payday experience we can for you all."

Even so, Starbreeze isn't happy with every aspect of Payday 3.

There's also plenty of other new content, and more than 200 bug fixes in the patch.

Tons of reported issues and bugs have been squashed.
