Fantastic Four and X-Men unite this September to save mankind from extinction through mutation

Later this year, Marvel will debut another brand-new comic series, with this being a five-part story that sees the X-Men and the Fantastic Four uniting in an effort to save humanity from being violently mutated by a disease meant to turn regular people into mutants.

The story is known as DNX and it's actually a major event that is meant to follow writer Jed MacKay's ongoing X-Men saga, before then having sweeping repercussions across the entire Marvel Universe.

Naturally, DNX is written by MacKay and features art from Miles Morales: Spider-Man's Federico Vicentini. The plot for the story is explained as follows:

"The X-Men and 3K. Each steered by an original heir of Xavier, each with their own vision for the mutant people. Each at one another's throats. Cyclops and the Chairman both experienced the future of the Age of Revelation and came home with a renewed mission: The X-Men to prevent that future. 3K to own it. While the X-Men seek out the Fantastic Four to help save one of their own, the White Beast begins his plan to unleash the X-Virus in a major population area!"

The debut date for DNX is September 2 and you can see two covers for the first issue below, with the more graphic option being a 'hidden' cover that perhaps teases a fate should the X-Men and the Fantastic Four fail in their efforts.

Supergirl and Blade star in a weird vampire romance in DC GO comic crossover

If you're searching for a weird but a quick read, why not turn your attention to the latest crossover between DC and Marvel? Arriving as a DC GO project that is available on DC Universe Infinite, this collaborative effort is bringing together two heroes you perhaps wouldn't expect to collide, as both Supergirl and Blade are teaming up.

This story is Supergirl/Blade and it's a one-shot story that follows the Krytonian heroine and the vampire-slayer as they work together to survive a vampire romance series created by the twisted Mojo. The official synopsis explains the following.

"When Mojo kidnaps Supergirl and Blade to star in his latest over-the-top vampire romance series, the Girl of Steel and the Daywalker find themselves trapped on a soundstage where the cameras never stop rolling and the stakes are very real. Forced to battle bloodsucking foes, melodramatic tropes, and Mojo himself, the unlikely duo must team up and fight their way to freedom before the show's final twist becomes their last."

Written by CRC Payne and with art from Mikel Janin and Hugo Petrus, colouring by Marcelo Maiolo, and letters by Pat Brosseau, this story is now available to read via DCUI with the added bonus that it's entirely free for the moment. Up until around May 8, you won't need to have a subscription to read the comic, so make sure you take advantage of this while you can.

Aquaman teams up with Jeff the Land Shark in newest Marvel Infinity Comic

Despite being fierce competitors across all avenues of the entertainment business, Marvel and DC are not afraid of teaming up and bringing together their immense portfolios of characters. To this end, one of the latest collaborations includes smaller-scale one-shot stories, including in the past, Thor and Shazam!, and now the next option takes us deep beneath the ocean waves.

The crossover you've all been waiting for has finally happened as Jeff the Land Shark and Aquaman are coming together for an adventure that sees the pair dealing with Ken the Kaiju, who has been terrorising Coney Island. The full synopsis explains the following.

"In it's Jeff/Aquaman, it's no day at the beach when Ken the Kaiju terrorizes Coney Island! It'll take the aquatic alliance you've only dared dream of to turn the tide, as everyone's favorite Land Shark, Jeff, and the legendary Aquaman unite to save the day!"

This crossover comic is now available to read on Marvel Unlimited, but if you'd prefer to get a physical copy, it will sell at comic shops from April 22. As for the creatives behind the project, Jeff the Land Shark creator Kelly Thompson is the writer, while Andres Genolet is the artist and cover artist. As per the cover, you can see this below.

Six new Lego One Piece sets have been revealed, each based on the events of Season 2 of Netflix's live-action series

Just recently, we reported on the news that Lego, One Piece, and Netflix would be teaming up to deliver an animated special based on the manga later this year, which is ideal for younger audiences looking to catch up on the events of the first two seasons of the live-action adaptation.

But there is even more Lego and One Piece news to mark, as six new sets have been revealed, each of which are related to the events of Season 2 of the show.

For one, there's a model of Tony Tony Chopper that spans 577 pieces and which will set buyers back £59.99/€69.99. Adding to this is a small version of Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout that clocks in at 271 pieces and costs £24.99/€29.99.

Building on this is a Showdown with Captain Smoker made from 547 pieces and which costs £54.99/€59.99. There's also a Dorry vs. Brogy - Giants of Little Garden battle that registers 733 pieces and sells for £69.99/€79.99.

The final two sets are the most expensive, with the first being the Battle at Drum Castle that stands 1,038 pieces in size and costs £89.99/€99.99. And finally, the biggest set is Garp's Marine Battleship that comes in at 1,705 pieces and retails for £149.99/€169.99.

Each set is now available to pre-order and will ship on August 1.

The board has sacked Paramount's chairman, Jeff Shell, for leaking confidential discussions regarding the acquisition of WBD

They say that only humans stumble over the same stone twice, although some simply seem to prefer banging their heads against a mountain. Puns aside, it appears that Paramount's executive board has had to take drastic action against its chairman, Jeff Shell, sacking him with immediate effect.

This is not the first time Shell has lost his job as the head of a major corporation. Three years ago, he was sacked as CEO of NBC Universal over allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards a CNBC reporter.

However, this time the events have come to light amidst the financial and media upheaval caused by the recent bidding war between Netflix and Paramount itself over the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. A few weeks ago, its then-chairman Jeff Shell had disclosed confidential comments regarding the status of the acquisition at the offices of a law firm in Los Angeles, which reportedly led to a lawsuit filed by investor Robert James "RJ" Cipriani. Disclosing those conversations is, it seems, a breach of contract and has led to a lawsuit seeking over $150 million against him and his wife, a matter that has been haunting him personally for weeks and has finally come to fruition today.

Despite this dispute, it appears that the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery is proceeding, although there are still many months to go before it is finalised.

Gunnar Optiks, the eyewear brand that often collaborates with some of our favourite games and IPs, has delivered yet another snazzy pair of specs. Working once more with CD Projekt Red, after delivering The Witcher glasses designed in the style of Ciri and the White Wolf Geralt of Rivia himself, now the company is jumping to the dystopian future of Cyberpunk 2077.

There are a lot of cool shades in Cyberpunk 2077, but few stand out more than those of the legendary fixer of Night City, Dexter DeShawn. The glasses from Gunnar look like they've jumped right out of the game, and come with the company's patented blue-light blocking technology to help reduce eye strain through long hours spent in Cyberpunk 2077. The X-Men will need to solve a murder at the Hellfire Gala in upcoming one-shot comic this July

For many, this summer will be defined by two key superheroes, namely Supergirl and Spider-Man, both of whom will return to helm their own live-action blockbusters and star in a bunch of promising comic books at the same time to capitalise on this attention. But we shouldn't let this hype detract from the fact that the summer will be a big period for the X-Men too, who are set to return in the second chapter of X-Men '97 and also helm a very exciting one-shot comic too.

Marvel has confirmed that the Hellfire Gala is returning this July, but with the caveat that the masquerade ball will now be overshadowed by a grisly murder the mutants will need to solve.

This will all come to fruition in X-Men: The Hellfire Murder, a one-shot story that is being helmed by a cast of talented creators with tons of experience bringing X-Men tales to life. The comic is written by Saladin Ahmed, Jed Mackay, Gail Simone, Eve L. Ewing, and Erica Schultz, with art from Tony Daniel, Luciano Vecchio, Federica Mancin, and more, with a cover from Vecchio too.

As for the plot premise, we're told: "When an iconic mutant power player is murdered at an exclusive masquerade hosted by Sebastian Shaw, it falls to Wolverine and Jubilee to solve a locked-room mystery that has dire consequences for all mutantkind. Everyone is a suspect. And the party isn't over yet..."

As for when this comic book will arrive, it will sell from July 22.

Warhammer's April Fool's Day joke is a full-blown musical

It's April Fool's Day, which means a lot of brands, developers, and creators are messing with us in one way or another. Think something's a weird but legit bit of news? Haha, pranked! Most companies usually put out a fake tweet or something like that. Not Games Workshop, as they went all-in on a Warhammer 40,000 musical.

Okay, it's not a real three-hour production, but it looks like it at least has the costume budget of one. The Emperor Protects: A Warhammer 40,000 Musical sees Space Marines, Adepta Sororitas, Necrons, and more live on stage, certainly like you've never seen them before. The YouTube trailer for the musical we'll never see is two-and-a-half minutes, and there's behind-the-scenes over on Warhammer TV for Warhammer+ subscribers, too.

Warhammer 40,000 may not be heading to the stage anytime soon, but the hobby once attributed to nerds and basement dwellers is certainly picking up steam in the mainstream. We've got an Amazon Prime TV series in development, and a new edition on the way this year which is sure to capture a bunch of newcomers to the hobby.

DC to debut a free Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight tie-in comic book

This May is set to be a big one for Batman fans as the next Lego adventure from TT Games will put the Caped Crusader back in the spotlight for its most ambitious project to date. Known as Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, this game is coming a little later than we previously thought, as the launch date was recently pulled forward a week to see the debut slated for May 22.

With this launch in mind, now Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and The Lego Group has announced that the game will be supported by an official tie-in comic book that will be published entirely for free as part of Free Comic Book Day on May 2.

It's a short story that follows Batman as he returns to Gotham City after a time away and sees how he encounters a bunch of different DC characters and while being chock-full of references and cheeky Lego humour.

Regarded as The Lego Batman Returns, the synopsis for the comic explains: "The Lego Batman Returns, follows a day in the life of Lego Batman as he returns to Gotham City after a hiatus and encounters a variety of familiar DC characters, paying homage to the Dark Knight's history in media, with references to past films, television shows, and comic books, combined with signature Lego humor."

The comic is written by Beware the Batman's Ivan Cohen and with art from Batman: Under the Hood's Paul Lee. You can see the cover art for the comic book below.

X-Men's Jubilee is getting a solo adventure this April

There are only a few days left in March but Marvel is using this time to announce a new comic series that will debut as soon as next month in April. To align with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a new comic series has been revealed that features X-Men's Jubilee in the leading role.

Coming from writer Gene Leun Yang (known for Shang-Chi stories) and artist Michael YG (Iron Fist), this story is known as Jubilee: Deadly Reunion and it follows the mutant as she's reunited with her long-lost cousin who also happens to possess powers, leading the two on an adventure to learn more about their history and Chinese heritage.

The synopsis for the comic explains: "Jubilation Lee always puts her life on the line for those in need - but for family? She'll do anything! When the cousin she never knew is in sudden need of help, Jubilee tracks him down to save him! But Jubilee may find that her familial bonds aren't as strong as she hoped! What secrets does her cousin hold? And what dangerous mutant power does he wield?! Join Jubilee as she embarks on a bombastic and life-altering journey of family, heart and heartbreak!"

This comic will debut on April 29 and as it's a one-shot story there will only be this singular issue to collect and read. You can see the cover as created by Fan Yang below.

Lego unveils a new (and technically similar) S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier set

When the world was swept up in Marvel Cinematic Universe fever in the 2010s, it didn't take long before Lego and Disney collaborated and turned the iconic S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier into a set and a rather large one at that. The original 2015 set came in at just under 3,000 pieces and boasted a price that made it more of a collector's item than a children's toy. That set hasn't been easily acquirable for some time, but no doubt because Lego and Disney has been working on an updated edition.

A new S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier set has been revealed, with this being a very technically similar model that has an appearance and final structure that positions it as more of a display piece than a toy set. Effectively, it has more muted colours, more intricate details at the cost of play features, and is built on a stand that should make displaying the set simpler.

The folks over at Brick Fanatics have already completed a direct comparison between the 2015 and 2026 sets and the information reveals that the new set is around £60 cheaper (with adjusted inflation figures), has around 100 more pieces, and is slightly taller but a little shorter. For reference, the new set spans 3,057 pieces, is 30 centimetres tall and 68 centimetres long, with a price that comes in at £329.99/€369.99.

As for what this new set offers, we're told that it is based on the Helicarrier from 2012's The Avengers film, has a detailed interior, a Quinjet that is 'floating' in the air, a fully-rotatable stand, and six minifigures that include Captain America, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, and even the Winter Soldier (for some reason...).

The set is pre-orderable as of now and will launch in full on June 1.

Celebrate 20 years of Hannah Montana by staying in the Disney character's Malibu beach house

Take to the skies with Lego's Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner

The Icons range is a fascinating part of Lego's wider catalogue as it features a broad slew of brickified products, from architectural masterpieces to movie props, play sets to household items, car models to pets, and so much more. To this end, now another interesting set has been added to the Icons collection.

This is a blocky version of the Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner, one of the most famous planes from the golden age of air travel. It's a direct representation of the plane that features its twin-engines, a detailed cockpit and passenger cabin, an aisle to walk down and tons of seating. There's even a stand to frame the plane on plus a collection of four minifigures that span a pilot, purser, stewardess, and flight attendant all in their respective PAN AM uniforms.

The set spans 1,903 pieces and will be launching as soon as April 4 for all fans (April 1 for Lego Insiders) with the price of the set hitting £199.99/€219.99. You can see a glimpse at this sleek set below.

DC further makes the summer all about Supergirl with yet another new comic book

To say that DC is doing whatever it can to make fans aware that Supergirl is heading to cinemas this summer for the next stage of the DC Universe is perhaps an understatement. Following up to the reveal of Supergirl: The World and the Elseworlds project known as Supergirl: Survive, now a more upbeat comic featuring Krypton's favourite heroine has been announced too.

Known as Summer of Supergirl, this will be a one-shot special comic that spans 48-pages and that will offer a trio of stories that aims to spotlight Kara Zor-El's legacy across the world of the DC Universe.

The stories are crafted by these three writer/artist duos; Sophie Campbell and Belen Ortega, Mark Waid and Cian Tormey, and Gail Simone and Emma Kubert, and as for what to expect, we're told that the first one will see Supergirl facing off with Lobo and the latter two will celebrate Supergirl "as she resumes her rightful place as the Heir to El."

The arrival date for the comic is set for June 24 and you can see the cover art for the colourful comic below. We're also told that DC has "more announcements" in the pipeline for its "Summer of Supergirl".

Chessington World of Adventures will open a Minecraft World in 2027

Over the past couple of years, theme park fans in the UK have been treated to all kinds of good news in relation to Universal looking to open one of its theme parks a few miles outside of London. This would be a big European rival to its Los Angeles and Orlando resorts, offering, as per recent reports, lands dedicated to a variety of iconic British brands be this James Bond or Harry Potter. While promising, this park is years away from opening its doors, but fortunately there will be a big reason to visit Chessington World of Adventures in 2027 instead.

As per the recent Minecraft Live show, where a Minecraft Dungeons sequel was presented, it has been revealed that the British theme park will be getting a dedicated Minecraft World and that it will be opening as soon as in 2027. It's regarded as a $50 million project that will represent "the next major evolution of the franchise," which has recently included a live-action movie that has a sequel on the horizon.

As per what this theme park world will offer, we're told: "The land will include new attractions including a world-first Minecraft coaster, themed retail and dining, plus a host of fan favourites and ridiculous fun from the Minecraft universe."

The world will also be inspired by iconic biomes, mobs, and items from Minecraft, and a bunch of concept art for how the land could look has been shared, as you can see below.

Marvel's redefining Avengers: Armageddon comic series is regarded as the "origin of the end"

Last year, we touched on the reveal of Avengers: Armageddon, a new comic event that would be launching in June and that would look to serve up a massive redefining of Marvel's superteam, the likes we haven't seen since Avengers: Disassembled arrived years ago. Since the reveal, we also learnt that Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon would debut before to set up this transformative story, and now today, we can finally hone in on the details of the major narrative event.

For one, Avengers: Armageddon will be looking to debut from June 3, when the first of the five-issue story will make its arrival. As for what the story will unpack, we're told the following (beware, as there are some spoilers for One World Under Doom and Captain America (2025)).

"Red Hulk's devastating tear across the globe must be stopped...but it will take a colossal gathering of Earth's Mightiest Heroes to do it! Calling in the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, and more... but who will survive this super-powered cataclysm?! There will be a pre-Armageddon Marvel Universe and a post-Armageddon Marvel Universe. Be here to bear witness to the transformation."

Written by Chip Zdarsky, with art by Frank Alpizar and Delio Diaz, and covers from Dike Ruan, Avengers: Armageddon is also said to be a "pivotal chapter" that will then directly lead into a "new era of Avengers" that will be commencing sometime later in 2026. DC unveils next collection of Elseworlds stories, with Supergirl, Superman, and Dark Knights to feature

It's going to be a busy summer for DC, as the DC Universe will expand when Supergirl arrives, something that is being supported by a collection of wider stories and projects revolving around the Krypton character. We touched on one ambitious comic book featuring Supergirl that would be launching in the summer, but there is in fact more to add.

As part of the Elseworlds range, three new comics have been promised for this summer, one of which revolves around Supergirl. This story is written by Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan, with art and covers by Rod Reis, with the comic known as Supergirl: Survive. It will be debuting just ahead of the live-action movie on June 3 and as for what it will tell, the synopsis explains:

"Kara Zor-El lives a life of small problems—school dances, family squabbles, and the impossible task of holding her floppy baby cousin Kal—but Krypton has big ones. As General Zod tightens his grip and the planet begins to burn, Kara and Kal are launched into the stars together, trapped in a prototype rocket and fighting to survive a universe that doesn't care if they live or die."

On top of this, we can expect a unique Superman story in the form of a tale written by Kenny Porter and illustrated by Danny Earls. It's called Superman: Father of Tomorrow and this will be debuting earlier than Supergirl on May 27, with a story that promises the following:

"When the planet Krypton explodes, a lone rocket escapes the destruction—not carrying Kal-El, but his father. Jor-El crash-lands in Kansas, where a kindly couple takes him in. As he adjusts to life on Earth, Jor-El discovers he can help his new home not only with his powers, but with his brilliant mind. This is the story of a Man of Steel and Science—and the world he saves."

Lastly, the third story will be arriving on July 15, with this being an expansion of the Dark Knights saga. Known simply as Dark Knights II, this comic is written by Tom Taylor and with art from Otto Schmidt and covers from Yasmine Putri, and as for the story it tells, we're not actually told anything on this front yet.

What we do have is covers for all three Elseworlds tales, ahead of their arrivals in the summer.

Warhammer "resurrects" one of humanity's greatest heroes, Commissar Yarrick

Is morale low among your troops? Are men threatening to desert? Even (Emperor forbid) join the ranks of the heretical enemies battering your lines? Fear not, faithful commander, for one of humanity's staunchest leaders has returned, and is sure to remedy any quivering lips and cold feet with a quick las round through the skull. Commissar Yarrick is returned, and it seems the line will indeed hold.

For years, fans had held the belief that Yarrick, commander of the Imperial Guard on the constant battleground that is the world of Armageddon, had been slain by the daemon Primarch Angron, as he had a trophy of a skull with an augmetic eye. However, it seems the tales of Yarrick's death were greatly exaggerated, as a new Warhammer Community post heralds his return, without any acknowledgement of him having to come back from death.

This further points towards the setting for the upcoming 11th edition of Warhammer 40,000 focusing heavily on Orks as well as the battles for Armageddon. We don't have official confirmation of that yet, but leaks and rumours continue to point towards it. Here's hoping there's an official reveal soon.

Prepare for X-Men '97's second season by reading a dedicated prelude comic book

We've been waiting for over two years (by the time it debuts) for the second season of X-Men '97, but the good news is that the animated Disney+ show will be back this year and as soon as sometime in the summer. No firm dates have been given as of yet, but we do know that the show is nearer than further away and that more information will be dished out "in the months ahead".

How do we know this, you ask? Marvel has revealed that a prelude comic book is set to arrive this June to tie together the first and second seasons of the animated show. The comic is simply known as M-Men '97: Season Two and it will bring back the mutants and characters you came to adore in the show that serves as a follow-up to the beloved 90s series, with this story offering explorations into the wider plot points the new episodes will cover.

The synopsis adds: "Extinction-day has come and gone, and your favorite X-Men are lost in time! Spinning out of Marvel Animation's X-Men '97 series, follow the X-Men left behind in a world that hunts and hates mutantkind! Can they survive? And just where - or when - are the X-Men now?! This series will be a five-part limited series and will bring together Steve Foxe as the writer and Salva Espin as the artist, two individuals who actually created the prelude comic for Season One of X-Men '97 a few years ago.

Lush's body sprays are an underrated gem and always get me the most compliments. Rose Jam holds floral, sweet notes, similar to a Turkish Delight whereas Sticky Dates pushes gourmand to the next level, think sticky toffee puddings and spicy treats. When paired with their respective shower gels, these products have a strong scent life (over 5 hours at least.) For only £30 each, they are not to be sniffed at.

In my Winter Skin Recommendations article, I mentioned that this cleanser had single handedly changed my routine. It's calming and lightly honey scented whilst being creamy and easy to swipe over skin, leaving a soft and clean feel after removing makeup or just washing away the day. Tintin's legendary moon rocket is being turned into a Lego set

It's a great time to be a Lego fan (even if my bank account would disagree...) as there are frankly so many amazing sets making their arrival. To this end, following the recent confirmation of a Lego Luigi Mario Kart set, now the Danish toy company has presented another imminent set, with this one set to appease fans of the iconic Tintin comics.

As of April 1, Tintin's Moon Rocket, which appeared in the Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon stories, will be brickified and turned into a Lego set that combines its truly beautiful appearance with a collection of Tintin minifigures.

The set stands half a metre tall and is built from 1,283 pieces, and is required as a "display-ready piece" that has a few Tintin-oriented nods, including a hidden control room that can be found by removing a panel on the rocket, all while one of the minifigures is Tintin's beloved canine companion, Snowy.

Retailing for £139.99/€159.99, the set was actually created by a Portuguese fan, wherein it received massive community support and was turned into an official set by Lego. Check out the lovely set below.

To celebrate the coming Pride Month, Marvel unveils new comic featuring Wiccan and Hulkling

Marvel has revealed that a new comic series is on the way and set to give Wiccan and Hulkling their time in the sun. With the coming Pride Month in mind, this new comic will arrive and see the fan-favourite couple facing off with Ultron, all in an adventure that features a bunch of other Marvel icons, like Scarlet Witch, Vision, Speed, and Viv Vision.

The one-shot comic will see how Wiccan and Hulkling come together with their wider family to celebrate their wedding anniversary, only to then have to fight Ultron, who manages to capture Vision and Viv in his attack.

Written by Wyatt Kennedy, Josh Trujillo, Zoe Tunnell, and Tegan Quin, with art by Stephen Byrne, Bradley Clayton, Rachel Stott, and Luciano Vecchio. The first issue will arrive on May 27, days before Pride Month starts, and as for the synopsis, you can see this below.

Ticketmaster directors brag about "taking advantage of" customers in internal messages

If you've ever tried to book tickets through Ticketmaster, you'll know how horrible the interface can be, and how much you end up getting ripped off by the seller at the end of the day. This is something Ticketmaster, or Live Nation Entertainment directors know (Ticketmaster merged with Live Nation in 2010). It's also something they happily exploit, thinking of consumers as "stupid."

In a Bloomberg report which showcases the messages of two Live Nation Entertainment directors, Ben Baker and Jeff Weinhold, we see that there's clearly no love lost for the consumers, as the directors seem to be quite gleeful in bragging about how they're ripping people off.

The internal messages come from 2022, and paint quite the scathing picture. The ticketing directors joked about Ticketmaster "robbing [customers] blind." In the messages, Baker said: "These people are so stupid. I almost feel bad taking advantage of them," adding "I gouge them on ancil prices."

In a later message, he bragged about the price of parking at a venue. "$50 to park in the grass, $60 for closer grass....Robbing them blind, baby, that's how we do it."

In a statement, Live Nation Entertainment said the messages did not reflect its values. Baker is the head of ticketing for 150 amphitheatres. He was expected to testify at a federal antitrust trial That testimony didn't happen, as the US Justice Department reached a settlement with Live Nation.

Rumour: Lego PlayStation set to arrive by the end of the year

It seems like there will soon be another addition to Lego's video game collection, as a new rumour from a very experienced and often accurate leaker, lego_minecraft_goat, has claimed that the original PlayStation will soon be brickified.

Yep, if you have been looking for company for your Lego Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy, you will seemingly soon be able to add the PS1. It's said that this set will be arriving by the end of the year, likely around December, and that it will span 1,911 pieces with a cost of $159.99/€159.99.

It should be said that while this individual doesn't tend to get their information wrong, until Lego or Sony PlayStation make an official announcement, we should treat this news with a degree of caution.

Dr. Dre is officially a billionaire, more than a decade after claiming he was one

Hip hop legend and Beats creator Dr. Dre has been officially recognised as a billionaire. Around 14 years ago, when Dr. Dre first sold the Beats by Dre brand to Apple for $3 billion, he declared that he was hip hop's first billionaire. It has taken until 2026 for Forbes to officially recognise that fact.

As per Variety, Dre is now tied 3332nd on the world's richest list, surrounded by Jared Kushner, Rihanna, steel magnate Richard Teets Jr., and other members of Forbes' richest list. Not sure if it's a dream or nightmare blunt rotation, but it's certainly a very rich one.

It doesn't seem like there's any certificate or prize that comes with being recognised as an official billionaire. I guess you'll just have to make do with your billion dollars. Dr. Dre didn't make it to the painting Forbes put up of some of its richest names, which includes the expected names of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, President Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch, and Mark Zuckerberg among others.

X-Men's Bishop is getting a solo comic book series

If you are a fan of the X-Men and have been hoping that Marvel would give some of the less popular heroes some time in the sun, we have some good news for you. Soon, a dedicated five-issue limited comic book series will make its arrival that will spotlight Bishop and see how the time-travelling mutant faces off with the Final Brotherhood.

Coming from writer Saladin Ahmed, known for how work with Wolverine, and artist Mario Santoro, who has credits working on Storm projects, this Bishop series will be making its debut this June, when the first of the five issues makes its arrival.

For the official plot synopsis of the comic, we're told: "Bishop has always lived by a strict code. But that code will get called into question when his sister, Shard, is sent to the present right before she died! Will Bishop adhere to his principles and protect the timestream? Or will he risk it all to save the most important person in his life?"

The announcement of the series does introduce a few additional bits of information, including that the Final Brotherhood, a new group of villains, will be involved, and that this will be a "standalone saga that encapsulates the heart and history of the character—all while putting them through the ringer on their most challenging and legacy-defining missions yet!"

Luigi gets Lego Mario Kart treatment with Mach 8 set

As it is Mario Day (Mar10), Nintendo has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Lego, all as part of an effort to grow the buildable Mario Kart range that the pair offer. With Luigi set to soon be a key player once more on the big screen via an appearance in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the iconic green-hat wearing brother of Mario will soon also be the star of his own Lego set.

A Luigi & Mach 8 set has been revealed that sees the taller plumber hopping into the lightning-fast kart and ready to race towards a chequered flag. It's a similar set to the existing Mario option, in that we find a seated Luigi, with marginally moveable arms, hands, and head, planted in a version of the famous kart, with Luigi-branding and flames spitting out the rear.

In total, we're looking at a set that retails for £159.99/€179.99/$179.99, which is surprisingly affordable for a set that spans 2,234 pieces. It's also a rather large set at 25 cm high, 41 cm long, and 23 cm wide, with pre-orders now available and shipping/an immediate purchase date planned in-line with the movie premiere on April 1.

Warhammer teases more Orky goodness, showcases new discount boxes

Last week, Warhammer jumped on a leak that had been posted online, making an official community post confirming that yeah, there's a new Ork Warboss in town, and he's ready to get krumpin'. Warbosses don't come alone, as we know, and this week we were promised some new reveals.

Instead of a full reveal, though, we instead got three teaser images in Warhammer Community's latest Ork-centred post, showcasing a grot wearing goggles, a power claw, and a kustom Ork kannon. Fans immediately began speculating on what this could be alluding to, and it seems the general consensus is pointing towards these being bits for a new Ork vehicle or redesigned Ork bike. The grot wearing goggles certainly looks ready to go fast, at any rate.

As well as these minor Ork teasers, we also got confirmation of four new bargain boxes heading our way, with a Space Marine force that for once doesn't actually contain any regular Marines. The Eye of Terror Battalion: Sons of Dorn box gives you a Redemptor Dreadnought, a Ballistus Dreadnought, and two Repulsor Executioner tanks. Some big and bulky machines in the box, for sure. As their mortal enemies, we have a new Combat Patrol for the Iron Warriors, bringing a hefty amount of Warp and machine-infused infantry to your tables. You get 5 Chaos Terminators in the box, five Havocs, 10 Legionaries and a Warpsmith to tie it all together.

Among the other discount boxes, the Adeptus Mechanicus get an Onager Dunecrawler, an Ironstrider Ballistarius, and a Skorpius Dunerider all in one box, and the Imperial Knights stomp into the field with their Eye of Terror Battalion, which contains a Knight Valiant, as well as two Armiger Warglaives.

Orks seem all but confirmed as the big bads of Warhammer 11th Edition as a new Warboss gets revealed

Clear your throats and get ready to paint your car with a streak of red to make it go faster to your local Warhammer shop, as it seems we're going green in 11th Edition. A big ol' WAAAGH is heading our way, or at least the leader of one is, as Warhammer has revealed a new Warboss for the Orks coming our way.

This follows a leak floating around the internet which showed a rather official looking boss, with the new leader miniature inside. This customisable leader comes with an assortment of head, weapon, and armour options, complete with a couple of buddies he brings into battle with an attack squig and ammo grot.

Alone, this mini is incredibly cool. But, with rumours of the reveal of 11th Edition swirling, we can't help but wonder if it's going to be part of something bigger. You need a leader for an army, after all, and wouldn't some shiny new Ork models be a perfect fit to follow this shiny new Warboss? We're expecting more news today, so keep your eyes peeled.

Games Workshop changes Warhammer paints to have the name you'd expect

It was interesting and unique when Warhammer stores were called Games Workshop stores, and until a couple of days ago how the paints you used only for Warhammer miniatures had the Citadel logo on it. Just as the stores were changed to Warhammer stores, though, now Games Workshop is rebranding its paint to make things a bit more obvious.

As you can see in the video below, it's not hard to understand why Games Workshop would make this change. The paint quality and pots are remaining the same, just the sticker around the pot is changing. Instead of the lovely, nostalgic Citadel logo, we see a bold new Warhammer Colour logo instead.

It hasn't been lost on the internet that this looks a lot like the font used for modelling brands in Japan, a market Warhammer is very much wanting to break into in a big way. With there being kanji included in the new pots, too, it doesn't seem too conspiracy-brained to see this isn't just because Games Workshop wanted a change of stickers. Not every paint pot has been changed already, but over the coming weeks and months in your local stores you'll see Citadel paints slowly fade away, with their Warhammer Colour replacements coming in thicker than an unwashed layer of base coat.

Universal reveals the cars of the new Fast & Furious drifting roller coaster in Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood has finally revealed the cars that will feature in their newest roller coaster at the theme park in Los Angeles, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. After months of testing, Universal finally revealed the trains that will make this "drifting" roller coaster: basically a spinning roller coaster, but with each car of two rows pretending to be a real car.

Specifically, the four cars in each train will be the Dodge Charger, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R, and Toyota Supra, all iconic cars from the history of the Fast & Furious franchise.

The roller coaster, located in the hill that divides the Californian theme park in two, features a unique layout designed by Intamin, with fast accelerations, many airtime moments and inversions, and with the added excitement of spinning cars, that will "drift" in the turns.

A similar roller coaster of the same type is also being built in the sister park in Orlando, Universal Studios Florida, and will replace the old and laughable Fast & Furious: Supercharged ride that opened in 2015. Would you like to ride this roller coaster?

Pokémon lines up new Pikachu Puma trainers to celebrate 30th anniversary

We might not be getting a new mainline Pokémon game to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, but we are certainly going to be getting a lot of merch, crossovers and more for this special occasion. Pokémon and Puma have collaborated before, and for their upcoming crossover the trainer brand will be adding a fitting, Pikachu-themed yellow coat of paint to its All-Pro Nitro 2.

As per HypeBeast, the Pokémon All-Pro Nitro 2 trainers will be available on the 1st of April, 2026, and can be found on the Puma website. Considering there's a section for Pokémon x Puma on the Pokémon Center site, we imagine we'll be able to find them there, too.

Apart from being yellow, the design also shows some love for Pikachu in a lot of other ways. There are dark black accents, and hints of red here and there, reminiscent of Pikachu's glowing cheeks. At a price of $140, these shoes aren't cheap, but you can be sure because of their Pokémon branding that they'll sell fast.

A range of Poppy Playtime action figures have been announced

Looking to continue feeding your Poppy Playtime obsession now that the fifth and final chapter of the horror game has arrived? If so, MacFarlane Toys has an announcement that may be of interest.

A range of Poppy Playtime action figures have been revealed and which are set to launch as soon as this year. So far, four toys have been announced, with these bringing to life many of the series most famous monsters and antagonists.

For one, you can get a ruined Huggy Wuggy figure or instead snag a Killy Willy, Kissy Missy, or The Doctor figure instead. Each figure is around 7" in size and has articulating limbs, replacement and customisable body parts, and plenty of detail that will make these fearsome additions to your action figure collection.

Final Fantasy XIV's in-house band will be performing at Download Festival in June

For the first time ever, Final Fantasy XIV's in-house band known as The Primals will be performing outside of Asia or dedicated Fan Festival events for the long-running game. Yep, the band will be taking to the Dogtooth Stage at the rock and metal festival to perform many of its most iconic works from Final Fantasy XIV to attending fans.

The Legend of Zelda gets new collection of palm-sized weapon toys

The Legend of Zelda is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and while we're not getting a new game anytime soon or the movie until 2027, there are still some ways fans can show their love for their favourite silent pot smasher. Recently, a new collection of weapon toys have found their way to stores nationwide in Japan.

The Legend of Zelda Weapon Collection features nine collectible toys that fit snugly in the palm. They are: the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Royal Two-Handed Sword, Zora's Greatsword, Cloisonné Knife, Steller's Bow, Boulder Breaker, Lightscale Spear, and a rare sheathed version of the Master Sword.

Ben 10's new comic series gives an Absolute-style reimagining of the character

Ben 10 is back. Fans of the cartoon series will be pleased to know the shape-shifting lad and his definitely not magic watch will be returning in a new comic series from Dynamite Entertainment coming this May. After being revealed last year at New York Comic Con, we've now got our first look at the new series, which involves all of the original creators.

It looks like we're going back to square one with this comic series, which appears set to reinvent the mythos. Described as giving Ben 10 its own Ultimate/Absolute series, this comic run involves "a revamped origin story, a straightforward, action-oriented take on Ben Tennyson and his adventures. Updating the concept for a modern aesthetic and sensibility, both those who grew up with the series and newcomers will get the definitive new Ben 10 experience directly from the creators. A wider range of tones and themes will be explored, from drama, comedy, to tragedy, and even the surreal."

Dynamite continues with a synopsis in a press release (via CBR) "Ben Tennyson and his family are out camping, when a meteor crashes nearby. When the inquisitive boy investigates, he finds the mysterious Omnitrix among the wreckage. From that moment, a new superhero is born! This new telling of will allow Casey and team to expand the scale and scope of these pivotal, beloved moments."

The series is expected to pick and choose Ben 10's highlights from all its iterations, including villains, heroes, and side characters that are all likely to appear and be given their own revamped versions. Check out some of the cover art images below:

First new Spinosaurus species since 1915 named in new report, had a scimitar-shaped crest

The Spinosaurus is undoubtedly one of the most popular dinosaurs, but also one of the most controversial. The classic image of a huge, ferocious and bipedal monster, larger and stronger than a T. Rex, popularised in Jurassic Park 3, has been debated and debunked by most palaeontologists, but they continue to disagree on how aquatic the animals were, their hunting habits or if they were quadrupedal or bipedal.

From February 19, 2026, a new discovery will add new information into the Spinosaurus lore, as a new species, called Spinosaurus mirabilis, has just been officially named for the first time in a newly published article on Science (via El País).

The Spinosaurus mirabilis is only the second Spinosaurus species to be named, after the original Spinosaurus egypticus, first found in 1915, whose original fossils were destroyed in Munich in World War II.

The Mirabilis' most striking feature is a crest in the shape of a scimitar, a feature never before seen in these types of theropod dinosaurs, and depicted for the very first time in the illustrations by Paleo-artist Daniel Navarro.

The initial studies describe the Mirabilis close to a heron than a crocodile in its habits, living and hunting in shallow waters, and quite far from the sea. They lives in what is now the North of Africa around 95 million years ago, measuring around 13 meters, 6 or 7 tons, and with jaws that acted as "cages" for fishes. Other dinosaurs, including two sauropods (those with the long necks) were found nearby.

Paul Sereno, the lead palaeontologist of the expedition, first found some Spinosaurus fossils in the Sahara desert in 2019. He returned in 2022, in an arduous excavation with 29 palaeontologists from five countries, and their findings have been announced today. The fossils are now in Chicago, but will be returned to Niger, where Sereno plans to open two museums and a paleontological institute.

The Winter season brings harsh weather with it's blustery chills so it is extra important to take care of your sensitive skin. Below are some of my favourite products to make sure that you are always protected against whatever the weather has in store!

Lanolips Lip Ointment- £8.99

After finding that I am allergic to almost every single lip product on the market, I decided to give Lanolips a try as they pride themselves on only using natural ingredients such as Lanolin, a product made from sheep's wool that mimics the same lipids found on human skin. I found that after using Lanolips, my lips were hydrated consistently and didn't leave me with flaky, sore lips after it had been absorbed. The tube is really useful and I find that the applicator makes it really easy to apply. I personally love the Glazed Donut and Banana Cream Pie flavours as a certified Gourmande Girl, but I will definitely be purchasing more flavours in the future.

Loccitane Almond Shower Scrub - £24.99

Loccitane is on the more expensive side of shower and skincare products but they never fail to deliver on quality and hydration and their almond shower scrub is no different. Made with almond oil and crushed almond shells, this scrub is firm and bitty meaning you get a coarse scrub, leaving your skin supple and smooth. The scent is similar to their almond shower oil, a cult beauty staple, meaning that you can use both in your routine leaving you smelling like a decadent almond pastry!

Lush Honey, Beeswax and Almond Oil Cleanser - £17.99

One of the newest additions to the sustainable bath and body brands collection, Lush's new cleansers are truly the bee's knees. I am not a girl who has a large skin care routine as I feel less is more in terms of caring for my dry, acne prone skin so investing in a Lush cleanser was quite a bougie purchase for me, however, I will be re-purchasing this cleanser. Made sustainably with almond oil from regenerative farmers in Spain and beeswax from ethically and organically farmed hives, this cleanser removes makeup quickly and efficiently whilst providing a calming, moisturising barrier to protect bare skin against the harsh winter weather. It's unscented, but has a gorgeous, natural honey aroma that leaves skin smelling good enough to eat.

Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream - £15.00

A viral hit online, this Jelly cream is not just a trend. The Korean skincare brand Medicube has revolutionised the market with their 98% hydrolyzed collagen cream, offering anti-aging benefits and improvement in skin elasticity. Applying after cleansing, this cream has made my skin soft and smooth whilst calming redness and providing a moisturising barrier. I like to use this at night and sometimes pair it alongside the Medicube PDRN Salmon Mask if my skin is feeling extra dry or I am just wanting to do a little bit extra self-care after a busy week.

The best tea's to incorporate into your daily rituals

Winter just won't seem to go away this year and with Punxsutawney Phil predicting at least six more weeks of winter, you might be looking for a tasty warm beverage to ease your bones while the temperatures are low. If so, we have you covered with a selection of teas and brews that have helped us through this winter so far.

Twining's Superblends Glow Tea - £3.49

This, in my opinion, is the tea of all teas. The queen of teas if you will. A refreshing blend of cucumber and strawberry complemented with a green tea base and aloe vera extract, this tea has been my personal favourite for the past few weeks. Not only does it taste great, the added biotin supports the maintenance of skin and growth of nails, making this tea not only delicious but good for you too! I like to drink this tea mid-afternoon, usually after lunch as a refreshing break on busy days.

Twining's Chamomile and Honey Tea - £2.00

In my opinion, nothing can beat a bedtime tea and Twining's has some of the best blends on the market. Naturally caffeine free and made with natural ingredients, Twining's Chamomile and Honey tea is the ultimate drink for a peaceful wind-down. Golden honey notes complement the slightly floral chamomile, making a relaxing and gentle drink that is perfect for your nightstand.

Teapsy's Vanilla Rooibos Tea "4.59" - £7.95

Teapsy is a small business founded by two friends in North London who describe themselves as "enormous tea drinkers". The brand is nothing short of playful and colourful with drinks such as "Bubble Bath" and "Lava Lamp". My favourite tea from them has to be their "4.59" blend, a caffeine free blend of Rooibos tea with notes of vanilla and caramel, making a biscuity, warm tea that is truly a hug in a mug. Made with no artificial flavourings, Teapsy is definitely one of the most creative and tasty tea brands on the market.

Tea Pigs' Peppermint Tea - £4.99

Ahhhh Teapigs. Ask any tea lover you know and Tea Pigs will be a staple in their tea cupboard. My personal favourite is their Peppermint tea, a naturally caffeine free and strong minty brew that aids in digestion and provides a fresh taste. I add this tea into my morning ritual as it's a great way to wake up in the morning. Their bleach-free, biodegradable tea bags are also a bonus and their 100% pure peppermint leaves give your drink a real minty kick! Delicious!
