Evil Empire has finally finished their highly anticipated Prince of Persia game, and we've taken a closer look.

With hardcore fans having stuck with the game in early access, it might not have been a straight-forward task to ensure newbies were having a lot of fun as well.

It adds a handful of new features and reworks some others.

The well-received roguelike has set the date for its 1.0 arrival.

The game also got a strong visual overhaul.

Warrior Ascension includes new difficulty modes, more enemies and a new skill tree.

We chatted with art director Dylan Eurlings about the unique style of the game.
