Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake

Square Enix returns a year later to complete its first Dragon Quest trilogy, and it looks like it has another Christmas blockbuster on its hands.

This is a new area that was not in the original Dragon Quest II, and will only be accessible after completing a mission to save a mermaid.

It turns our there is plenty more content than we anticipated, including more dungeons.

We had the chance to try out both of the two instalments that complete the first HD-2D Remake trilogy and to appreciate their slight novelties compared to their originals.

Same version for both consoles, but only one cartridge will have the full game inside, so choose wisely which one you buy.

Almost a year to the day after Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.

However, the Nintendo Switch version will come with the full game in the cartridge.

Square Enix's two pending releases will complete the Erdrick Trilogy this year.

They have decided to start this new wave of the classic series from its beginnings in narrative order.
