One of the most famous moments from Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso series is how the AFC Richmond coach looked to make a good impression on the team owner by bringing her home baked shortbread biscuits. If you've been watching the series and wondering whether Ted is actually a good baker, now you can find out.
Mackenzie Limited has now announced an official batch of Ted Lasso Biscuits with the Boss, and while these biscuits do look authentic (even boasting an AFC Richmond-themed packaging) and are no doubt very tasty, they are rather expensive for some usually inexpensive shortbread.
One box is said to retail for just shy of $30, with two boxes costing almost $50 and three boxes valued at nearly $70. If you're wondering what is in each box, every one contains ten shortbread biscuits, meaning you're paying around $3 for a single biscuit!
The description for the biscuits do also suggest how they should be consumed: "We recommend serving these conversation-worthy Biscuits with the Boss as Ted did, with caring optimism and an unshakeable positive outlook." Ted himself then added, "Biscuits are like life. They're not always perfect, but they're always worth it."
Will you be buying any Biscuits with the Boss?
