It seems we're reporting about Apex Legends a lot these days, and that's because a lot of organisations like 100 Thieves, Gen.G, and Penta Sports have been signing streamers and professional esports players to compete in Respawn's battle royale game, and now Team Liquid has revealed they've done the same.

Well, it's not so much about Liquid signing a team, as transferring their existing roster for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode into Apex Legends, as confirmed by player Brenden 'Casper' Marino. The other players on the team are Gage 'Caliburn' Meyer, Thomas 'Flankxr' Cook, and Tanner 'Rogue' Trebb, although with Apex Legends only having three-person squads, who knows what will happen.

NRG Esports has also recently revealed that they've recruited Brandon 'Ace' Winn to their team, joining Coby 'Dizzy' Meadows Richard 'KingRichard' Nelson, so there's no shortage of teams appearing for Respawn's game. All we need now are more competitions, although we assume those will be coming sooner rather than later with all this investment in squads.

What do you want to see from Apex Legends esports now that the game has hit 50 million players?
