Penta Sports is an esports organisation with a presence in games like Rainbow Six: Siege, and now Jack 'Wacko' Middleton, Matthieu 'Oraxe' Ribiere, and Herman 'Nesh' Kobrin have been revealed as Apex Legends players for the team, each of which has experience in other games like Overwatch and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

This experience is something that Penta will hope will translate into success, and they're not the only team investing in players for Respawn's game (which has now passed 50 million players). After all, Gen.G has signed a full team, and 100 Thieves has also recruited streamers to their roster.

Apex Legends still hasn't got a full esports scene with an official league or something that we've seen in other battle royale games like PUBG or Fortnite, but with more players getting on board and smaller competitions popping up, we may well see this in the future.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
