KPop Demon Hunters makes even more history at the Grammys
It's the first K-Pop song to win a Grammy award.
While the K-Pop craze has been around for a long time, you might be surprised to hear the genre has never had a Grammy-winning song. That is, until now, as KPop Demon Hunters again proves that nothing is impossible by taking home an award for its hit Golden.
Performed by the fake band for the movie Huntr/x, Golden was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Song for Visual Media at the Grammys. As per the BBC, it only won the latter award, but still made history through the win at the Grammys ceremony in Los Angeles.
Elsewhere in the K-Pop world, Blackpink singer Rosé was up for three awards, but sadly didn't get to take home any gold herself. The big winners of the night overall were artists new and old, including Bad Bunny, Olivia Dean, Kendrick Lamar, and Steven Spielberg made himself an EGOT with a win for his production work on Music for John Williams.
