Solos and Duos removed from Apex Legends game files

Datamining isn't always reliable, as Respawn points out, but it seems to indicate that three-person squads are here to stay.

With Apex Legends being one of the hottest properties around right now, datamining has been popping up to delve into the game files and spread speculation about what it could mean for future content. Respawn has played down the reliability of these 'discoveries', since their experiments with various features has left a lot in the files, but that doesn't mean it's all nonsense, since new Legend Octane was discovered using datamining.

Now the Apex Legends - News and Leaks Twitter account has posted another bit of information from the game files, which is the removal of Solos and Duos. If you've been waiting to play with just one buddy or on your own then, it seems as if Respawn won't be bringing that anytime soon.

That said, the Battle Pass has just been released alongside Season 1 and Octane, although some members of the community are a little disappointed with the rewards in the Battle Pass, something that Respawn has since responded to.

Are you eager for a Solos and/or Duos mode?
