Avalanche Studios are preparing the first content drop for Just Cause 3, with Sky Fortress set to hit the explosive open-world adventure game in March.
The content will be available to those with the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass a week before it'll go on sale to the masses.
"If Just Cause 3 is over-the-top action then the Air, Land and Sea Expansion pass aims to stand on its shoulders and reach even higher," said senior producer Tobias Andersson.
"An incredible amount of time has been spent ensuring every new item is fully integrated into the main game and can be used during existing missions. Rico's new Bavarium Wingsuit will fundamentally alter the core gameplay of Just Cause 3 and we can't wait to see the crazy stunts that players perform with it."
The DLC will include new missions based around a huge flying Sky Fortress (it's not just an interesting name, then) full of "deadly robotic drones." Sounds suitably batshit if you ask us.
Of course Rico will head into battle with new toys, namely the rocket-powered Bavarium Wingsuit (that comes with shoulder mounted machine guns and auto-targeting missiles, naturally), a new Bavarium Splitter assault rifle, and Eviction, his personal defence drone.
The second content drop - Land Mech Assault - has also been detailed, albeit briefly. As the title suggests players will be able to take control of a heavily armoured mech that comes equipped with a gravity gun (the final image below will give you a little insight into what to expect).
The Sky Fortress content will cost $11.99 / €11.99 / £9.49, and the Expansion Pass will set you back $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99. According to the press release, all of the content included in the pass will be available before the end of this summer.
