A few weeks ago, we reported on the news that Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev would be ending his Counter-Strike break by returning to action sometime after the PGL Major Copenhagen. This meant that we assumed that s1mple would be back as a Natus Vincere mainstay in late-March/April, but it turns out the CS legend has some plans in place before that.

S1mple will actually be competing in the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown in March as a stand-in for Team Falcons. The decision has been made that he will suspend his inactive status earlier than expected to try and help the team earn one of the two slots available for the BLAST Premier: Spring Final that will be held in June.

It's unclear what s1mple's plans will be following the Spring Showdown (which is planned for March 6-10), but we are still expecting him to eventually return to Natus Vincere's active team at some point.
