Dissidia Final Fantasy NT coming to PC and getting free edition

The fast-paced fighting game from Team Ninja used to be exclusive to PS4, but now some pretty big changes are inbound.

Team Ninja's Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is coming to PC through Steam, as revealed by Square Enix, but that's not the only big bit of news coming from the fighting game. Both PC and PlayStation 4 players will be able to download a free to play version of the game, fittingly titled Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition, on the same day as the game hits Steam on March 12 of this year.

The free edition gives the player access to a limited amount of characters that will rotate weekly, while giving the player the opportunity to buy additional characters and weapons. Online matches will be available for free to play players and they will be able to battle against owners of the full game.

Additionally, the game will see the release of a Standard Edition too, offering players a 28-character roster and various game modes such as story mode. There's also a Deluxe Edition containing the Standard Edition content as well as the Season Pass with its six DLC characters, weapons, and costumes.
