Earlier this month, Nordic esports organisation, Heroic, announced its decision to bench Casper "cadiaN" Møller from its main Counter-Strike team, but with a collection of major events taking place in the final couple of months of 2023, and since the team is still searching for a permanent replacement for cadiaN, Heroic has announced that he will be returning to the active line-up to compete in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final.

CadiaN was allegedly dropped from the team due to Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard pushing him out of the main roster as part of a deal for the pair to extend their contracts with the team. However, the duo also engaged in contract talks with rival organisations and have since been benched themselves due to a breach of trust. This means that while Heroic will be in attendance at some of the biggest events of the year, it will be fielding a very different roster, albeit one with cadiaN back as part of the main line-up.
