Astralis benches two members and signs two new stars
The Danish organisation's Counter-Strike team has been shaken up.
The Danish esports organisation, Astralis, has confirmed the signing of two new individuals and the benching of two current members. In an attempt to return to the top of professional Counter-Strike, Astralis has officially moved Christian Møss "Buzz" Andersen and Johannes "b0RUP" Borup off the starting roster, and has instead brought on the former Heroic duo of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard as replacements.
It should be noted that recently both stavn and jabbi were removed from the Heroic starting line-up for an alleged breach of trust regarding how the pair were exploring other opportunities in the scene all while supposedly agreeing to a contract extension with Heroic at the same time. During this set of events, it was mentioned that Astralis was the team that the pair were looking to exit Heroic in favour of joining.
Due to failing to qualify for the BLAST Premier: World Final in December, we'll next see this version of Astralis in action at various smaller events in the lead up to the New Year.
