Apex Legends has gone from strength to strength in the week it's been with us, as not only has it gathered a following of 25 million players in that week but we also know there's a roadmap of new content to keep us entertained throughout 2019.

As Respawn CEO Vince Zampella reminds us in a post on EA's site, the first season will land in March to bring the first Battle Pass along with new Legends, weapons, loot, and more. Right now though we have something to prepare for this week, as we also get word of limited-time Valentine's Day loot, with players advised to keep their eyes open for more on that.

Zampella also reminds us about the Twitch Rivals competition for the game, and that there are other changes he can't tell us about "based on player feedback and experiences".

For more on the game be sure to check out the Week One Recap video below, as well as some of our winning gameplay.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
