Igarashi: Bloodstained is a game for my old fans

We talked to the legendary producer about the gothic style of the game.

When Gamereactor was in Los Angeles for E3 we caught up with ex-Castlevania producer Koji "IGA" Igarashi talk a bit more about his crowdfunded indie game Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and during our discussion we asked why the gothic themes remained in this game.

"So after going independent and trying to create a new project, we decided to create a new project through Kickstarter, and try to create a game where my old fans, from during my time, my Castlevania days... we wanted to create a game for them," he explained. "So the gothic element is something we couldn't get rid of, and it's something that we wanted to show for the old-school fans."

Do you like seeing more of that gothic vibe?
