Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip game landing in October

This tie-in game lets us play as the cast of the film, fighting zombies in a twin-stick top-down shooter.

Earlier this month we got a brand new trailer for the Zombieland sequel called Double Tap, and it turns out Zombieland fans have even more to be excited about a decade on from the release of the first film, as a video game tie-in will be landing on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on October 15.

This is being developed by High Voltage Software and published by GameMill Entertainment, set after the events of the first film. As you can see in the screenshots below, this is a twin-stick, top-down shooter featuring local multiplayer with up to four players, who will play as the characters from the film. There are other unlockable characters as well, who are featured in the sequel.

There are special abilities to utilise alongside a range of weapons, which can be used in the campaign, wave-based horde mode, and daily and weekly challenges.

Will you be playing this alongside the film?
