You'll be able to watch The Mandalorian and Grogu on Disney+ in September

The latest Star Wars movie now has its Disney+ debut date locked in.

If you have yet to see The Mandalorian and Grogu - and seemingly there are quite a few people who didn't when considering the rather meagre $345 million generated at the box office, which is rather abysmal for a Star Wars theatrical movie - then there is some good news to take into consideration, as the Disney+ debut date for the movie has now been shared.

As soon as September 2, The Mandalorian and Grogu will arrive and be streamable through your subscription to Disney's entertainment platform. You'll be able to see the next stage of Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin's journey alongside his adorable green partner, once known as Baby Yoda.

This news follows the recent confirmation of the digital and Blu-ray premiere dates for the movie, with the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions to become available the week prior on August 25. The digital version of the film has been available for sometime, so if you don't want to wait for the Disney+ version, you can see the latest Star Wars theatrical offering from the comfort of your home as of writing.

In terms of what this movie brings to the table, you can see the official synopsis below, and you can also read our review of The Mandalorian and Grogu to see what we thought of the flick.

"The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu."
