Rumours have been swirling around the internet for the last few months about a new variant of the Xbox One S called the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which as you can see in the picture below doesn't have a disk tray, trading that "for those who prefer to find and play their games digitally and are looking for the most affordable way to play Xbox games," as Microsoft explains.

This console comes bundled with Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3, and Sea of Thieves, not to mention a special offer on Xbox Game Pass to get access to even more titles. Of course you'll also have access to other non-gaming apps like Netflix too.

The console will launch on May 7 for $249.99 USD (£199.99, €229.99), and Microsoft says they expect to maintain at least a $50 price difference between this model and the regular Xbox One S.

You can check the console out with images and a new trailer below, and the official announcement post didn't mention anything about storage capacity, although we can see a glimpse of a 1 terabyte storage capacity on the box during the Inside Xbox show last night, where the console was revealed.

Does this sound like a good entry point into the Xbox family?
