Warner Bros. buys Turbine

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have announced that they've bought Turbine, the studio responsible for MMOs like Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach and The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. Exactly how and if this move will have any impact on Turbine's games is not known at this time, but it looks as if Warner Bros. are looking to tie more Lord of the Rings-related games to themselves - they already have most of the gaming rights to the franchise, and will be publishing Snowblind Studios' The Lord of the Rings: War in the North next year.
