This past weekend saw the Apex Legends Global Series Split 1 Playoffs being held as a physical event in London. The tournament pitted the best teams from around the world against each other for a share of a $1 million prize pool, and now that the tournament has concluded, we have a winner to report on.

After a close tournament, TSM has been named champions of the tournament, after just beating out NRG Esports, who ended up second, with Acend clocking in third and XSET taking fourth.

This result has set TSM up as the team to beat heading into the second split of the season, and has put TSM in a good position for attending the World Finals, which will likely take place at the end of 2023.

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
