Tom Brady to rock the cover of Madden NFL 18

He's never been on the cover before.

Sure, Tom Brady has five Super Bowl rings, which is nice and all, but he has never been the star on the cover of a Madden game. Fortunately for him, that's about to change this year with Madden NFL 18, as he has just been confirmed to get the honour.

One might have thought that Brady would've been hesitant towards this honour since the infamous Madden Curse will surely make it impossible for Brady to win something major ever again (last year, his fellow Patriot Rob Gronkowski was the cover athelete and was injured for half the season, missing the Super Bowl), and you'd be right, as he's said that he's thought about it:

"I am not sure it's supposedly that there is a curse, I think there is a curse," he said. "I've been able to overcome a lot of things in my life, and now we've really got to step up our game."

Will the curse affect Brady?
