The Surge 2 has a new gameplay overview trailer

Deck13 breaks down the various elements of the sequel, from combat to exploration and everything in between.

Gamescom is kicking off this week, and while you wait for our coverage in Cologne to start, the trailers and announcements have already begun, including a brand new trailer for The Surge 2 in which Deck13 outlines the various elements of gameplay we can expect.

There's a lot to take in here, including plenty of gameplay, and we get insights into the world and its hidden pathways; targetting enemies in combat to hack limbs off; customisation of your exosuit; and plenty more.

All of these elements will be crucial for survival in the punishing world of Jericho City, a world that is "much more alive than it was before" in the first game.
