The PS Plus titles and Games with Gold for June are here

Every month players with PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold can get free games for their respective consoles, and now the offerings for both PS4 and Xbox One have been revealed, providing plenty to enjoy in the month of June.

The PS Plus titles, firstly, include Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, available between June 4 and July 1, which should get you prepared for the third game in the series in September. We may also be seeing Borderlands 2 DLC linking that game to 3 as well, so it's worth paying attention to.

Between the same dates we also have Sonic Mania too, one of the most well-received Sonic games in recent memory that throws us back to the golden era of the blue hedgehog with 2D retro visuals and gameplay.

For Games with Gold, however, Xbox Live Gold users can get EA Sports' NHL 19 between June 1 and 30, and Rivals of Aether is the other Xbox One title coming for no charge between June 16 to July 15. Portal: Still Alive, however, will be free from June 1 to 15, with Earth Defence Force 17 rounding out the offering between June 16 and 30, both of which are playable on both Xbox One and 360.
