Now that we're staring down the barrel of the final stage of the Overwatch League's 2022 season, Blizzard Entertainment has officially lifted the curtain on what the postseason will hold for the franchised league.
It has been made clear that the postseason for this year will see teams heading back to Anaheim, California to compete in the same area that the OWL started. The Playoffs themselves will begin on October 30 and will stretch until November 4, with that final day being attributed to the Grand Finals. All of this will be played at the Anaheim Convention Center in the city.
Since we don't know the end of season standings, we can't add who has qualified/will qualify for the tournament, but what we do know is that there will be a Play-Ins bracket taking place between October 15-22, to ensure that the lower seeded teams have a shot at making the postseason events.
