On its official website Bungie has detailed the changes coming to its shooter Destiny 2, the biggest of which is the return of Lord Saladin to the Tower in Season 2 for an Iron Banner event starting on January 30 that lets you earn Season 2 weapons in Iron Banner engrams.
The rewards can be found down below, but the only one that isn't pictured is the Iron Banner ship, which Bungie wants players to discover themselves. What's more is that if you're missing items from last season, these will also drop as possible rewards from the engram, and there's a new emblem that tracks how many lifetime rank ups for Iron Banner you've earned in Destiny 2, earned by completing the Iron Banner Milestone.

Bungie adds that they've changed a lot about the Iron Banner based on player feedback, noticing "that players preferred a way to directly acquire items." As a result, the team has added the ability to obtain armour and different weapons from Saladin during the event, and below is an infographic on what he has to offer. Another way to get rewards is to complete challenges, with ornaments available for all Iron Banner gear.

Given negative criticism Bungie has received in the past few months for Destiny 2, we hope these changes work for the best for the community, and for more on what's new you can check out Bungie's website. Are you a fan of the Iron Banner events?
