The Iron Banner is back in Destiny 2

But slightly modified in response to community feedback.

October 16 will be a busy day for Bungie's FPS, as not only will it see the Festival of the Lost, get underway, but we'll also get the changes in the access conditions of Forsaken and the return of the Iron Banner event.

The Iron Banner will be happening from October 16 and 23, but will have some tweaks compared to the previous event. Bungie says they heard the players who complained about the goals requiring too much play time, and as a result the company has upgraded the rewards and revised the goals downwards, as you can see in the following:

• Each bounty will now offer a powerful reward

• Bounty objectives have been updated to the following:
o Lightbearer: Reduced Super kills to 20 from 25
o Iron in the Blood: Reduced match completions to 15 from 30
o Shine On: Reduced Orbs generated to 50 from 100
o Iron Victory: Reduced match wins to 7 from 10
o To Be Precise: Reduced precision kills to 50 from 100
o All in a Week's Work: Reduced kills to 150 from 250

But that's not all, as the Valor gains will be doubled from October 16 to 19 and then tripled until October 23, which is perfect for those in search of masterwork cores.

Are you pleased with the changes?
