For the first time ever, the ESL is bringing Apex Legends to the ESL Premiership tournament. As announced on Twitter, the game will be featured as soon as next week when the open qualifier takes place on November 9.

It should be said that this seems to only be available for PC players, and that the rules stipulate that each team must have at least two of their three players living in the UK or Ireland.

Otherwise, the format for the tournament will see four individual qualifiers being held, with each being played over either one or two lobbies depending on number of sign-ups. Teams will be scored on placement and kills, and the map that will be used will be World's Edge.

The qualifiers will all take place on November 9, with each coming one hour after the other starting from 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET. You can sign up for the tournament right here.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
