Team Vitality are the final CS:GO Major champions

All eyes are on CS2 now.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 22 May 2023

The BLAST.tv Paris Major concluded over the weekend, which means that until Counter-Strike 2 arrives and then kickstarts its competitive scene next year, we won't be getting any further Counter-Strike Majors, and that the Major cycle for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is now over.

So, with this monumental event behind us, the final CS:GO Major victors have been determined, with this going to Team Vitality. The result has seen the hometown team being rewarded with not just $500,000 in prize money, but also a direct invitation to both IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST Premier World Final at the end of the year.

As for when the next CS Major will be held, this will be the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen that is being hosted in March 2024.
