Sony Online Entertainment are holding their annual Fan Faire in Las Vegas right now, and to celebrate that they revealed this trailer for Planetside Next/Planetside 2. We've known about the game for quite some time, but this is the first time we actually get to see anything from it. Fans of the old Planetside got reasons to celebrate, in other words.
Planetside Next will offer up a large, persistent world to fight over - similar to the old game. No word on release date or business model yet, but MMO-players that have been aching for a PvP game that actually features three factions instead of two will be happy to hear that Planetside 2 will feature the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate and Vanu Sovereignty.
