Activision have decided to push the release of Raven Software's time twisting action romp Singularity forward into the first quarter of 2010 in order to avoid a potentially lethal collision with the publisher's sure fire Q4 hit Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward. A sensible move from Activision's part as the fourth quarter is traditionally the hardest time of the year to launch a new franchise, especially in the crowded FPS genre.
Hopefully the extra time will result in a more polished end product and perhaps even some additional content.
