Saint Row might have started out as an attempt to make a serious copy of Grand Theft Auto, but quickly learned that trying to beat Rockstar at their own game is easier said than done. Instead, Volition opted for more humour and over the top violence - which is very much the case in Saints Row: The Third as well.
