PopCap Hits get retail release

PopCap's biggest hits are to be bundled together and released in two separate Volumes at retail, exclusive to Xbox 360.

Volume one will consist of Bejeweled 2, Peggle, Feeding Frenzy and Astro Pop. Volume two throws in Plants vs Zombies, Zuma, Feeding Frenzy 2 and Heavy Weapons together. Both volumes are to be published by Mastertronic.

The two collections, the first hitting February 18, the next in March, aim to introduce the titles to a new audience, reports trade site MCV.

In a talk with Mastertronic's business development director Garry Williams, he confirmed the move as "our job to use our existing publishing agreements on all the major platforms to help PopCap get these sure-fire hits into retail on as many formats as possible."
