The Overwatch World Cup takes full shape again in September as part of BlizzCon, but in the months leading up to that immense convention, a host of qualifiers and tournaments are being featured to whittle down the many, many nations and to determine which countries will qualify for the main proceedings.
To this end, recently the Conference Cups came to a close, with these being events that determined the final nations who will appear in the respective regional online qualifiers, where the far fewer main events slots will be on offer.

Each of the qualifiers will happen in around a month, between May 29 and June 7, depending on region. The best teams from each region will advance to the main event group stage where they will join both China and Saudi Arabia, two teams who have secured direct invitation to this phase of the tournament after reaching the grand final of the last OWWC in 2023.
