As it doesn't feature the same wealth of teams as that of the West division, the East division of the Overwatch League is using a slightly different format, and starting from this weekend we get to see this come to fruition.
Because the Spring Stage Knockouts for the Eastern division has been revealed, meaning we know the teams who are already fighting for their lives in the bid to earn one of the coveted spots in the Midseason Madness international tournament.
Split into two groups, the brackets for the events match franchised OWL teams with Contenders teams, and while the best teams from the East have already avoided the first knockout games, both the Seoul Dynasty and the Shanghai Dragons are fighting for their lives in the event.
