New York Excelsior drops two of its players

The Overwatch League team has halved its Support line.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 11 July 2023

With the Overwatch League set to return this week after a lengthy midseason break, we've seen a few different teams making last minute roster adjustments. The latest of this bunch is the New York Excelsior.

The team has decided to half its Support line up by releasing both Haley "Halo" Hamand and Joseph "Lep" Cambriani. There is no mention of what the future will hold for either player, but the Excelsior has thanked both for their time playing for the franchise.

As for when we'll next get to see the Excelsior in action, the team will be taking on the London Spitfire in a few days, another team who has made roster changes recently.
