Blue Byte and Ubisoft have announced a new game in the Settlers-series, named The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom. The game is supposed to take place during the renaissance and have a brand new graphical engine, an improved AI and support user generated content and leaderboards. The end result is supposed to be released this coming spring, but be sure to take a look at the rather pittoresque screenshots below.
