New Driver from Ubisoft

Ubisoft have confirmed that a new instalment in the Driver series is coming during their next fiscal year (starting April 1, 2010, ending March 31, 2011). Ubisoft bought the rights for Driver from Atari a couple of years back and have so far only published a port of Driver: Parallel Lines for Wii and Driver 76 for PSP as well as some mobile titles. But now it seems a proper a new instalment is on its way. Given Ubisoft's statement about focusing on PS3 and Xbox 360 with their major franchises we assume that's where Driver 5 is headed. Perhaps a PC port is also coming. Expect further information on the new Driver later this year, possibly at E3 or if Ubisoft's Ubidays event makes a comeback in May.
