Those old enough to remember playing Myst when it originally came out in 1993 will likely have fond memories of the puzzler. And there is probably quite a few of you out there; the original title has shifted over 13 million units since it was launched.
Good news for fans: Funbox has today announced that they are releasing a new version of the game for 3DS sometime in June.
Myst will offer over 80 hours of immersive gameplay (longer if, like me, you spend an eternity scratching your head trying to work out what to do). Players will retrace old steps and explore the original island, looking for clues and solving puzzles.
Mark Clemens, Sales Manager at Funbox, said in a statement: "This game needs no introduction and we're sure it's going to be a big hit with the fans that remember the original and those that will be new to one of the greatest adventure games ever, we're sure we have a great hit on our hands and further enhances our commitment to bringing exciting products and licenses to the market across all platforms".
