Regardless of what we call the new graphical style used in Borderlands (Gearbox aren't fond of the term "cel shading") it certainly compliments the game well. The prospect of mixing the addictive gameplay of a dungeon crawler with massive amounts of weapons and items with a first person shooter has always intrigued us, but these visuals certainly don't make matters worse.
