Madden NFL, the annual American football game released by EA, is confirmed to be releasing again this year. Surprised? Not really.
What is interesting however, is the introduction of a story mode called Long Shot. FIFA introduced the concept of a sporting story mode last year with The Journey and was received well, despite having some flaws. Long Shot has players assume the role of Devin Wade, a "forgotten prospect on the pursuit to hear his name called on NFL draft day".
