Following a lengthy tenure as part of the Paris Eternal, the support player Emir "Kaan" Okumus has a new home in the Overwatch League. Now part of the London Spitfire team, Kaan will be serving as a flex support player, so that DPS player Jamie "Backbone" O'Neill is no longer required to occasionally fill the role for the organisation.
This signing came shortly before the Spitfire played its match against the Houston Outlaws on August 20, a game of which the Spitfire won 3-0, further climbing the rankings of the 2022 season and the Summer Showdown standings.
