To celebrate Halloween Valve has announced that Left 4 Dead 2 will enjoy a free Steam weekend starting later on today - you can pre-load the game right now if you want to. Old players who join up for some co-op with one of the free weekend players will get a new achievement called "Good Guy Nick".
