It has previously been known that a demo of Left 4 Dead 2 would be made available for those who pre-order the game from October 27. EA and Valve have now provided further details. The demo will be available for all on PC on November 3, and for Xbox Live gold members on the same day (and all Xbox Live users a week after that). The demo will give players a taste of the Parish campaign and the new melee weapons as well as encounters with the new zombie bosses. Up to four players online or through LAN can play with the Xbox 360 version also supporting split screen.
Left 4 Dead 2 will be released on November 19 in Europe.
