Leaks point to a massive Xbox building set with over 3,000 pieces

Following the release of Lego sets based on the Atari 2600, NES, and Mega Drive, among others, it now seems the Xbox's turn has come. This time, however, it's Mattel, which recently unveiled a Warthog building set, that is now rumoured to be working on an Xbox console set with well over 3,000 pieces.

The information comes from Retro Dodo, which notes that it was recently confirmed via Instagram that Xbox and Mattel are collaborating on some sort of 25th-anniversary celebration in time for the Xbox anniversary in November, and that more concrete details have since leaked via both a now-deleted Amazon listing and Manuals.Plus.

Thanks to this, we now know this giant Xbox will be released alongside miniatures from Halo 2, Psychonauts, and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, all of which will be compatible with the "console," along with an included replica of The Duke. The build will also feature the light and sound effects characteristic of the classic console.

In short, this is something to look out for for all fans of both construction sets and Xbox.
