Here's all we know about the Destiny 2 beta

A story mission, a strike, two crucible modes, and three new sub-classes.

We already knew that the Destiny 2 beta will start on PlayStation 4 on July 18 and on Xbox One on July 19 for those who pre-order the game, but we haven't yet heard what's going to be included in it. Now we finally have that information, and it's basically the stuff that Bungie has focused on in their marketing.

The first story mission (Homecoming), the Inverted Spire Strike, and Control, and Countdown in the Crucible will be there, and in terms of characters, we'll get to try out three of the new sub-classes. This means that we'll get access to the Warlocks' Dawnblade, the Hunters' Arcstrider, and the Titans' Sentinel.

The beta will be opened for all PS4 and Xbox One players at 6 pm BST/ 7 pm CEST on July 21. Exactly two days later, at 6 pm BST/ 7 pm CEST on July 23, Bungie will let us explore The Farm (Destiny 2's social area) for an hour to see how many people can fit in it at once. It'll be interesting to see how the new football activity will turn out when the court is filled with players...

As we already knew, PC players won't get access to the beta before late August, but you can get a taste of what awaits in the trailer below.

Will you be taking part in the beta?
