The first day of the Toronto Defiant-hosted Summer Showdown tournament is in the books. The Overwatch League tournament that is bringing together the best teams to compete for a cash prize and also some crucial OWL Points is underway, and while the second day will be starting this evening, here are the results for day one.
- Washington Justice 2-3 Dallas Fuel
- London Spitfire 3-1 Toronto Defiant
- Vancouver Titans 1-3 San Francisco Shock
- Florida Mayhem 0-3 Houston Outlaws
As for what match-ups are coming, for the West Division, the Dallas Fuel will face the London Spitfire before the San Francisco Shock take on the Houston Outlaws in the winners round. In the losers rounds, the Washington Justice and the Toronto Defiant will be fighting to prevent elimination, as will the Vancouver Titans and the Florida Mayhem.
And if all of this isn't enough to get you excited, the East Division games kick off very soon, and will see the Guangzhou Charge taking on the Shanghai Dragons, before the Philadelphia Fusion face the Seoul Dynasty.
