The Overwatch League Playoffs for 2022 are in full swing and so far they have been rather surprising indeed. Some of the top teams across the league have either been eliminated or find themselves in elimination circumstances currently, and on top of that we have the Support Role Stars to talk about and celebrate.
Starting with the Role Stars award, this year's winners for the Support category are: Dallas Fuel's Hyeon-Seok "Chiyo" Han, Los Angeles Gladiators' Jin-Seo "Shu" Kim, Shanghai Dragons' Min-Chul "Izayaki" Kim, and the Dallas Fuel's Jun "Fielder" Kwon.
Looking back at the actual tournament, the four teams that have already been knocked out are the Philadelphia Fusion, the Atlanta Reign, the Toronto Defiant, and the reigning champions, the Shanghai Dragons.

This leaves just eight teams still fighting for the title, two of which will go home this evening. The next knockout games will see the Los Angeles Gladiators taking on the San Francisco Shock, before the Hangzhou Spark face the Florida Mayhem. The loser goes home, while the winner will face the loser of either London Spitfire vs. Houston Outlaws or Seoul Dynasty vs. Dallas Fuel.
