Halo: Reach screens leaked

First pieces of info on next Halo
Bengt Lemne 6 November 2009

The first images of what seemingly is Halo: reach have reached the internet courtesy of a poster on the MLG forums. The pictures are of poor quality taken with a cell phone camera, and they have been "watermarked" Tom Morello. Though I doubt Tom Morello has anything to do with this.

The images were immediately analysed by Halo fans all over the world and these are some of the conclusions they came to:

- There seems to be co-op for up to five players.

- There is a new kind of Needler weapon.

- The Warthog is equipped with new weaponry.

- The Battle Rifle has 12 rounds.

- Something called Activities is in the menu. Speculation is that it might be something like Spec Ops in Modern Warfare 2.

- There seems to be some kind of perks system. One perk is the ability to run faster by pressing LB, another one is the ability to produce a hologram of oneself and a third is invisibility that can be turned on and off.

- Judging from the images it also appears that Bungie have developed a new graphical engine or improved the one from Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST significantly.

Keep in mind that while the leak appears to be legit, it is not certain that the conclusions drawn are correct by any means.
