God Eater confirmed for America

PSP hit makes journey to Western shores
Bengt Lemne 18 February 2010

God Eater, a game similar to Monster Hunter, was recently released in Japan and sold almost 300,000 copies in its first week, has now been confirmed for release in North America by D3 Publisher.

"The anticipation for God Eater in Japan has been tremendous with more than 1.5 million downloads of the demo," said Pete Andrew, vice president of product development, D3Publisher. "God Eater offers high-speed, stylized action mixed with a deep dramatic storyline that makes it uniquely different from its competitors and we look forward to bringing this title to gamers in North America."

God Eater will see a North American release during the third quarter of 2010, and a European release seems very likely now as well.
